![]() ![]() There was a good blend of action and mystery which was addictive I always wanted to know what happened next. ![]() I did guess the ‘big reveal’ right from the start but it didn’t take away from my enjoyment of the story. The story was interesting and had plenty of twists and turns to keep me entertained. I’m not usually a fan of forbidden romance but I didn’t find myself wanting to hurl into a bucket, so that was a good sign. ![]() Their relationship was slow-building and not in any way over-the-top like so many YA books. He too was a well-rounded character that actually acted like a normal person and not this perfect, romantic ideal that we so often picture when we see the word “prince”. I also really enjoyed the relationship between her and Kai, the Prince. I really wanted things to go her way as you find out further on, poor Cinder really didn’t have the best start in life.
